That understanding shapes the way I approach weddings today.
Weddings hold a rare kind of energy - a gathering of the people who have shaped your life, all present to celebrate an unforgettable milestone. I’m endlessly inspired by the relationships, the atmosphere, and the meaning that carries throughout the day.
My work is rooted in a deep respect for connection. Creating images that feel honest, thoughtful, and lasting. It’s an honor to be trusted with something so personal.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m happiest spending slow days with family (a proud granddaddy’s girl), finding reasons to laugh a little harder, and being mama to Harley, my shepherd, and Nash, my dachshund.
Photography became my creative outlet while earning my Bachelors of Fine Arts in photography. That time shaped the way I see - noticing light, depth, and the small details that bring an image to life. But during my final year, my understanding of photography shifted in a much more personal way.
I created a portrait of my great-grandmother - loving, strong, and the heart of our family. Shortly after, she passed. That photograph became one of the last images we have of her, not as a goodbye, but as a reflection of who she was. That experience changed how I see photography.
What once felt like a way to create art became something much deeper. Photographs outlive the moments they’re made in. They hold memory, presence, and meaning long after the day has passed.

It was really important to us to find an LGBTQ+ affirming photographer who would celebrate our love just as much as we do. Crystal made us feel so comfortable every step of the way. Having moments like this captured when you grew up thinking you may have to spend your life hiding who you are is truly incredible. Crystal’s photos speak for themselves. They’re timeless, sophisticated, and beautiful. Looking back I know I would not have lasted 5 minutes without her. I cannot recommend Crystal enough."
